David P. Laube is the Vice President and Director of Estimating at Haywood-Berk Flooring Co., Inc., where he leads the company’s estimating operations and provides executive oversight for preconstruction services, budgeting, bid strategy, and project planning. With more than 40 years of experience in the commercial flooring industry, David works closely with owners, architects, general contractors, and project managers to develop competitive proposals, evaluate project risks, and ensure accurate cost estimating for a wide range of commercial, institutional, educational, and athletic flooring projects.

Prior to joining Haywood-Berk, David built an accomplished career at Action Floor Systems, where he advanced from field installation into executive leadership while serving in roles including Sales Representative, Sales Manager, Construction Manager, Vice President, Purchasing Agent, Contract Administrator, Insurance Procurement Agent, and Submittal Coordinator. Beginning his estimating career in 1997, he ultimately led all company estimating operations from 2020, overseeing the successful award of approximately $40 million in contracts over a five-year period. A respected industry leader, David has been a member of the Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association (MFMA) for more than 30 years, continues his membership with Carpenters Local 253, and has extensive experience delivering projects for the New York City School Construction Authority (NYC SCA) and the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (NJSDA).
